Kuebler Boulevard Road Expansion

Even on a tight budget, the Oregon road expansion at SE Kuebler Boulevard turned out to be a great project for both K&E and the City of Salem. It not only comprised of 6000 linear feet of street widening, but also improvements to curbs, sidewalks, asphalt pavement, storm sewer, retaining walls, traffic signals, illumination and striping.

Challenges

This Oregon road improvement project presented our team with several challenges: heavy traffic, an extremely tight schedule and paving that required the lowest amount of joints for better quality and end product.

Outcome

Thanks to project logistics being extremely well managed and the effort of our competent team, the project was finished on-time. Both the City of Salem and K&E proved quality work could be delivered on a budget with great economic value for the local community.

"K&E’s  product was installed exactly to the plans and specifications and their flexibility in executing the overall project schedule was outstanding. This project required significant coordination with the electrical and H-pile installation contractors, K&E’s support in this area  contributed heavily to the success of the project."
